Manual Handling AwarenessCourse Aim
Staff will receive training about risk factors, which will raise awareness about safe techniques; how they can play a role in the management of manual handling hazards. The employer will understand the legislative requirements to manage manual handling risks and that consultation and developing safe systems of work are vital in reducing manual handling injuries.
Topics
The trainer will not demonstrate specific ways to handle materials at your work, as everyone needs to lift or carry in a way that suits them. Non-Public Courses: The Workers Health Centre can visit your workplace prior to the training. The trainer can then discuss some solutions to reduce manual handling problems in your work environment during the course. Additional fees would apply. Duration3 hours.
