The Workers Health Centre work conditioning programs are designed and conducted with the objective of rebuilding the clients physical function and help the claimant become pain free and to return to pre injury levels of duty.Physical conditioning can minimise the time away from work and reduce the possibility for further re-injury. It can be appropriate for those who are de-conditioned and for workers whom conventional treatment has not helped. An effective program must be practical in nature and accommodating for the individual. Each claimant has inconsistent levels of function and motivation therefore requiring programs to be customised for specific needs. Work conditioning programs include:
